American Exceptionalism is the “Great Experiment” that has become the model by which others gauge their success, even in times of economic recession. This formula for success and leadership are unequaled anywhere in the world: a place where innovation and accomplishment are only limited by the will and determination of its creator.
At a time when much of this country was barren and harsh, our forefathers came to this land with dreams of a better life. Sacrifices were made by natives and settlers alike, to make this rugged but beautiful land a home for all. Many gave up all that they had, all that was familiar, in order to create the impossible for their children. Differences of religion, culture, and heredity no longer became challenges, but rather, our greatest strength. Some arrived with just the clothes on their back, and a vision in their hearts. That vision created the greatest nation man has ever known.
Many paid the ultimate price, and continue to do so today, so that others may breathe the air of freedom and greatness. We must honor that sacrifice and legacy by continuing the work of our ancestors, who did not receive our great nation as a gift, but had to build it for themselves. Their goal was to create a nation of strength, character, prosperity, freedom, and unity… they gave birth to the United States of America!
We must live our lives in a way that is worthy of the great blessings that have been bestowed upon us. With great blessings, come great responsibilities. It is our responsibility to leave this nation to future generations, in better shape than we encountered it. We must assure our children and grandchildren that the debt we have amassed by careless spending, will not be allowed to hinder their dreams, their ambitions, their security, their innovation, their way of life. We must relight the flame of the American spirit and do the right thing, even when the sacrifices seem almost too much to bear. We must look into the eyes of our children, and see the spirit of generations, and in honor of those who got us here, say “Yes, you will live the American Dream”!
In this time of economic challenge and international turmoil, we must unify in our determination to succeed in the face of great adversity. Supporting our nation and allies against the domestic and international challenges that we face is more important than ever. Experienced leadership has never been more critical.
The best of our country’s history is yet to be written. Our legacy to future generations will be one of courage, responsibility, commitment, and loyalty. American Exceptionalism is alive and well! We will accept no barriers to success. The United States of America is still the “shining city on the hill”, the country by which all others measure themselves, the greatest nation on earth.
I am privileged to work with dedicated men and women who are willing to sacrifice their lives to continue this great heritage.

Millennial Institute for Leadership & Global Diplomacy
September 2015 - Present
The unique mission of the institute is to create a transition from the traditional think-tank model into one that is more relevant to today’s technological influences. We are creating new platforms of legislation implementation with a focus on tech advances and its global impact on local and regional governance, along with adaptations of current think-tank methodologies to provide updated and relevant solutions. Public Policy is directed by perception and with current technology, policy reactions go viral before most decisions have an opportunity to be properly implemented, thus affecting the way in which policy should be introduced.
Millennials are raised with this concept, of immediate response, but governments are often unable to react as quickly, thus, many worthwhile programs are defeated before they have the time necessary to succeed. Agencies must also adapt to the realities of global influence on local affairs, particularly when international exposure makes unrealistic demands based upon selective smartphone uploads. We see this in news events, but the greater concern is on long-term policy initiatives, which don’t often comply with the desire for immediate results.
The Institute is involved in policy research, particularly as it relates to a new, more internationally savvy and media connected generation, but its greatest contribution is in the structuring of how policies are implemented, with a focus on, not only local implications but global perception and its resulting influence. We adapt these results to a rapidly changing tech environment, which powers international news and social media, and is an influential source of information to the largest current generation, the Millennials, who are increasingly, the most affected by the policies being enacted.
The Institute, originally developed for a university’s graduate school, also provides leadership development training to engage this demographic more directly in the legislative process. The outcome will be the establishment of more effective and relevant solutions, which will greatly influence environmental, societal, economic, and national security issues worldwide. We work with global leaders, NGOs, universities, and young professionals in coordination with established legislative and research organizations, to create more effective strategies for relevant governance. Our non-partisan and highly effective approach will generate more engaged communities and enable governments and private sector programs to target their resources towards greater success by improved implementation and more effective diplomatic solutions, thus, enhancing economic growth and sustainable results.

* Early on, I worked with former Republican Senatorial Committee Chair, Sen Rudy Boschwitz to raise over $150,000 within two-weeks. I invited four newly elected United States Senators to California for a round-table debate with industry leaders and private citizens. Subsequently, one Senator became Vice President (Quayle ’89), one became Secretary of Defense (Cohen ’97), one became Majority Whip/Minority Leader (McConnell ’03/‘07), and one became a Presidential Nominee (McCain ’08). The ability to identify and support future political leaders began with this event. I seek those traits in others.
Gifted Research and Educational Foundation

We developed personalized learning options within traditional academic spaces and under existing fiscal constraints and regulatory parameters. Gifted Research was a 501(c)3 DE corp.
* Trained teachers on new strategies, which made instruction and learning easier and more efficient for students, educators, and parents; thereby, increasing academic success and college admittance, with a focus on preparing underrepresented and first-generation students for college entry. Providing guidance and leadership training to those seeking to independently establish meaningful contributions to society, which extended beyond academia and career objectives – blending talent, education, and personal commitment towards their ultimate desire of making a difference in the world.
